TRAINING
TIRE DESIGN SCHOOL
The Tire Design School provides customized, comprehensive training for new engineers and scientists at our Research and Development Center in Greenville, S.C.
Individual curricula may include:
- Fundamental theories of tire design
- Tire materials and manufacturing processes
- Computer systems used to model and analyze tire designs
- Tire performance validation
- Opportunities for interaction with technical experts
- Hands-on assignments to design, build, and test a prototype tire
Project work to:
- Reinforce fundamental theories
- Discover more details of design development and manufacturing process
- Develop contacts in different parts of the organization
- Make a real contribution to the company during the training period.
