New Process Engineers are initially assigned to MARC (Michelin Research and Development Center) in Greenville, S.C. for 6 to 24 months depending on the individual's needs and the demand for Process Engineers at manufacturing facilities.
From formal classroom instruction to hands-on experience with tire building, Process Engineers work with experts in every area of the tire building process during this training program. During training, Process Engineers can expect to spend approximately 30% to 40% of their time traveling to various manufacturing facilities in North America. Having completed training, the Process Engineer will receive a permanent assignment at one of the manufacturing facilities within the U.S.
