Industrial Engineer
Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Conducts productivity improvement and cost reduction projects in the manufacturing environment
- Works in direct cooperation with employees and managers in the study and implementation of projects through the application of the Michelin IE method and related techniques. Project work includes machine capacity, material flow, expansion needs, staffing, and productivity/efficiency improvements.
- Begins employment with a training program that combines in-plant project and classroom work in IE functions, methods, and tools.
